Cubase 15 midi editor arrow keys

In cubase 15 pro the midi editor shows some awkward behaviour: The step input: the left and right arrow keys don’t move the blue input cursor. The notes played in can’t be prolonged using the right arrow key. On top of that, shift plus up and down arrow don’t move the selected notes up and down by an octave.
I have just checked it in Cubase 14 Pro and everything works as expected.

Does anyone have similiar problems or a solution?

I opened a new project (not the one that I started in Cubase 14 Pro) and now it’s working as expected. Weird.

Still - when I open projects that I started in Cubase 14 Pro - the problem persists. It’s really annoying.

SHIFT+Up Arrow wasn’t working for ‘up one octave’ this morning for me either. I’ll try restarting. (down one octave WAS working though)

Right now, Shift-Up is working to move a midi selection up 1 octave, but Shift-Down is not working.

I’m trying to find these in the key commands list, but no luck so far. (could there be a conflicting assignment maybe?)
