Cubase 15 Mixdown Export Queue unexcepted error

Hello!

I tried to export a project to multiple formats, but it keeps throwing an ‘unexcepted error’. I basically use Hungarian accented characters in the folders, but if there are no accented characters, it still throws this error. Normal export works, but since I use multiple formats, it’s tricky that I have to export them all separately. It worked perfectly in Cubase 13. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi,

Which Cubase version exactly do you use?

What exactly are the formats? What are the jobs? And what are the characters? Could you attach the Export Audio Mixdown window screenshot, please?

Cubase 15.0.21

I got the error… Now that you asked what files I wanted to create, I noticed: I wanted to create two wav files, one 24bit/48KHz, the other 16bit/44.1KHz… I forgot to rename the second wav file, and that caused the problem…

Thanks for responding! Your question helped me to highlight the problem, that I was careless.

Hi,

It shouldn’t show this kind of error anyway.

Thank you for sharing, I will report this to Steinberg.

It should say something like “Naming conflict, please rename”
