In Cubase 14 the Modwheel and pitchbend worked fine in Arturias Mini V3. Cubase 15 this is not working at all. It works perfectly in stand alone mode but not within Cubase. It cant even read the automation of modwheel or pitchbend. Hopefully this will be fixed soon! Anyone else who has experienced this?
Yup. A few of us have this issue. Keep hoping that Arturia will fix it. But sadly v3 is an older version now.
Thanks for the reply! Do you know if Mini V4 and V5 are the same as V3 in general and if they have the same issue in Cubase 15? Also if I upgrade, can I use the same presets with my own settings that I have made for V3 and saved in Cubase?
I don’t know. You could ask Arturia.
V4 mod and pitch work fine in Cubase 15 (Windows)….but V3 presets are not compatible with V4 according info I found online…..so would assume V5 is the same.
Thanks for reply….I will see if Arturia will show up with some nice Black Friday prices ![]()
I reported the Mini V3 / Cubase 15 mod wheel/pitchbend/MIDI CC issue to Arturia (I find that Mini V3 will not receive MIDI CC in C15). Arturia replied: “This points to a compatibility issue between Mini V3 and Cubase 15, rather than a configuration issue on your system. The GUI behavior you mentioned further supports that Mini V3 is not behaving as expected in this environment. The case has been forwarded internally for investigation.”
(The ‘GUI behaviour’ I have is that when the Mini V’s window first opens, the image is in the bottom left of the window, and no controls work. If I close it and open it again, the image fills the window and the controls work. But then doing things such as clicking ‘Advanced’ or ‘Settings’ causes the window to jump all over the screen. And one cannot deselect Cubase’s ‘Allow window to be resized option’.)
I noticed that the Mini V3 seems to get/process only note on/off messages. No mod, pitch-bend or CC messages, even if those are on the track. Are there any news on this issue?
