thanks, definitely not the case, been using cubase since 1997.
I think i have it figured out, I have currently uninstalled everything cubase.
BUT there is a chance my ssd is failing, I am currently in the process of trying to salvage my data off of the ssd, and then I will reinstall cubase and try another ssd.
Thanks! for everyone help so far!! Its weird that it is able to read the ssd (most of the time) but only writes errors.
Fingers crossed this is the solution.
