had similar issues on my old Intel Macbook Pro. Turning off Graphics Acceleration was turned off but also I believe there was a bug with some 3rd party apps running in the background. I know Roland Cloud would be a big offender & simply closing the roland cloud software helped.

I updated my M2 Studio to Tahoe and it was a nightmare in Cubase 15 Pro. Gui drop outs, areas of the mixer visually missing at random times (pictured). I rolled back to Sequoia and I have no intention of going back anytime soon. Sequoia works like a charm

Wow that is definitely a ‘weird one’. I tell ya, it’s always the Studios with the issues. On paper they’re beasts but a lot of these odd problems seem to be the Studios, I’ve seen it at my own work with our monitors and whatnot too. Stuff that ‘just works’ with everything else including the three MacBook Pros I have at the office, seems to always go wonky with the Studios.

Over here, ‘regular’ M2 Pro Mini has had absolutely no issues with C15 and Tahoe since the day of release (I usually update right away). If anything, my only problems with Cubase are getting enough time to work in it nowadays. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Is that not the “preferences->user interface->disable gui acceleration” ?

I can confirm it works for me in Cubase. 12 using Tahoe 26.5.2

After nnabling the option “Disable GPU Acceleration” in the preferences section of Cubase the playback runs smoothly even with lower buffer size settings in my audio interface.
