Cubase 15 Pro - Drum-Mapped Tracks not showing in the 'MIDI List' View

Hello everyone,

I have a peculiar problem that I am asking advice on, please.

I have a MIDI Drum-Mapped Track that shows the notes on the Key Editor page with the Drum Map notes named to the individual drum, but when I open the ‘MIDI List’ Editor page, there is no information at all showing the notes, Velocities, timings, etc. The MIDI List view of the Track is completely empty. If I de-select the Drum Map and choose no drum map, when I check the ‘MIDI List’ window view, still no information shows up at all. I have only noticed this with Drum-Mapped Tracks.

Why I want to check the MIDI List view is to compare different velocity values rather than clicking on each individual note to find its velocity. (in the ‘Velocity’ Lane of the Drum Track). Also, I find it easier and quicker to change a few values in the MIDI List view rather than in the Key Editor and Velocity lane.

I am missing something, but I can’t figure out what it might be?

Thank you for your advice.

Regards,

KKSky

Hello,
I gotta start by asking if the filter for notes is enabled in the List Editor?

Hi Johnny,

Thank you for your response. Yes, it was a ‘rookie’ mistake! The last time I had used the Midi List view was to check on some controller settings and I had the ‘Notes’ Box marked with an ‘X’. I don’t know why I didn’t look at that….

Thanks again.

Regards,

KKSky
