I have my song set up with tracks panned left and right as I want them. After Mixdown of the Stereo Out the generated file has the panning reversed. This happens with both wav and mp3 mixdown. Am I missing something?
How did you confirm that the channels were swapped?
Listening on monitors and headphones
My mistake. I am using a Tascam Model 12 in DAW mode when I create the mixdown in Cubase and leave it in DAW mode when I listen to the generated stereo output file.
When I take the Tascam out of DAW mode the generated track plays correctly.
I don’t know why playing the mp3 or wav file in DAW mode swaps the channels but now I know how to overcome it.
Thanks.
Don’t joke like that. I almost uninstalled Cubase 15 ![]()
Stupid me connected the main outs for the Tascam around the wrong way. Doh!
