Cubase 15 Pro — PLE user preset save dialog opening wrong folder

Hi all,

In Cubase 15 Pro on macOS Sequoia 15.7.4, the Project Logical Editor isn’t opening the correct folder when I choose “Save Changes as Preset.”

Instead of going to:

Documents → Steinberg → Cubase → Project Logical Editor → User Presets → [correct preset folder]

the macOS save dialog jumps to a generic user/root location. I have to manually navigate back to the proper PLE preset folder every time, which slows things down when working with lots of presets.

I’m trying to find out how to make Cubase either:

  • open the correct PLE preset folder by default, or

  • remember the last used location

If this involves a Cubase preference reset, macOS permissions, or a specific configuration step, I’d appreciate any guidance.
