Cubase 15 pro-severe latency, none with 14 pro

No worries - the later versions of Ozone are bit lighter on CPU, but those earlier iterations were serious hogs! You may not have noticed an errant plugin on Control Room if it hadn’t been such a drain on resources.

The most puzzling is a bare new project with no plugin but for a piano, would have had such an effect. Here’s the kicker, opening any of the same projects in 14 had no effect on latency. So I will try to replicate the same condition.

I think you can get a trial of the latest Izotope? May be worth testing it to see if it is indeed the older version causing the issue. Seems odd that 14 would be happier, but who knows what goes on underneath the hood on such things.

For what it’s worth, I tried to replicate problem, simply could not. I loaded up as much as possible until I found one plugin that would overload. After removing that plugin it went back to normal. So, I still don’t have an answer to satisfy my curiosity, but I’ll just leave well enough alone.
