created a preset to mute hidden tracks
but it mutes everything1
…so show us the preset so we can help you
Just tried that exactly and it worked correctly.
Maybe if you tell us some actionable info, like what exactly you´re muting, show and tell every detail as if you were describing this to a smart but blind homo sapien
so i have 12 tracks all unmuted , then i hide 3
i run the preset ( as show )
i finish up with 3 hidden tracks muted and nine non hidden tracks muted
cant be any simpler ??

i have several folders
BASS/DRUMS . . . PADS . . . GUITARS . . . KEYS . . . VOCALS . . . etc
when i run the preset , the vocal tracks dont mute ??

At the bottom change it from Transform to Select so it doesn’t run the lower section. If you run the Preset now it should just Select & not Mute. This makes it easier figure out what is getting selected and why. The pic you posted is really blurry and hard to read. Can you post clearer picture of the PLE and include the entire window so everything is showing.

If you are using the Windows Snipping Tool it has a delay timer on it to give you time to set up the shot. Set the timer to 10sec & then click the button to do the screen capture. You’ll now have 10 seconds to click on any Cubase Window. This will cause Cubase to be the active program which will bring the PLE to the front again.
Or an alternative approach would be to right+click at the top of the PLE Window and deselect the Always on Top option, which is what causes the Window to hide when Cubase loses focus.
Is anything going on in the collapsed Pre & Post Commands section?
