So if I record something in midi, it randomly quantizes when I open the region for the first time after recording it. If I do CTRL+Z it comes back as the un-quantized recording I have made. But it also just does it randomly sometimes too. Anyone noticed it ? Yes, Automatic Quantize is turned of. This is really annoying as it messes up with Swing and stuff when I move bits around.
I’m on the latest maintenance release and I’m seeing this behavior in a project I’m working on. I’ve noticed that I can edit the midi in-place on the track view and it doesn’t do it.

Are you 100% sure, the AQ (Auto Quantize) is always disabled, please?

I figured out what caused it.
Auto Quantize was indeed off. But Auto Apply Quantize (in the Quantize Panel) was on.
It seems those two states can co-exists as they are not doing exactly the same thing.
