Cubase 15 - Retrospective Record and Expression Maps

Hello, my expression maps are not being recorded when using retrospective record.

I hit play, I trigger a map and play in notes. The articulation sounds correctly. I then hit retrospective record and the midi and CC values are recorded, but articulation doesn’t get recorded. This means I have to manually go in and draw in all the articulation changes.

Anyone else having an issue with this?

I think, it’s designed like this.

I’m not with Cubase at this moment… Could you try if Chord Pads are captured with the Retrospective Record?

This better not be a “feature” - it works in Cubase 14. And has for quite a while.

Although it used to be broken around Cubase 10 or 11, if memory serves.

I never use chord pads, but I’ll try and learn about them and test it out
