Edit > Preferences > Transport > check “Locate when clicked in empty space”
In the Project Zone, this theoretically moves the cursor/locator/playback bar/whatever-you-call-it to wherever you click.
In Cubase 10.5, this worked in the Score Editor as well.
However, in Cubase 15, the Score Editor default is that one has to SHIFT+ALT+CLICK to move the cursor/playback bar/etc. to select the point you want playback to begin.
Is there a way to remove this annoying extra step and have “Locate when clicked in empty space” apply in the Score Editor as well?
