Cubase 15 - Selecting MIDI CC?

In the Cubase 15 Project Zone, it’s easy to select a track, right-click, and show or hide automation.

However, when I want to switch between automations - for example, CC1 (modulation) to CC11 (expression) - it looks like I have to either use the search bar at the top, or manually expand “All CC” and scroll through them every time.

In Cubase 10.5 there was a short list at the top of all MIDI CCs currently being used, so I could easily right-click and select whatever CC I wanted. It was super easy to switch back and forth.

But in Cubase 15, there are now these unnecessary extra steps that are very frustrating and inefficient. Obviously I can see having to manually search or scroll when adding new ones to the track, but switching between existing ones?!?

Is there an easier way to switch between CC automations currently being used???

Hi,

In Cubase 15, switching between MIDI CC automations does not currently include a quick-access list like it did in Cubase 10.5. To select different MIDI CCs, you typically need to either use the search bar at the top or manually expand “All CC” and scroll through the list.

Well that sucks. Why would they remove this feature? Did someone look at Cubase and think, “This feature is super convenient for everyone but let’s nix it for the next version?” Ugh.

Thank you for chiming in and confirming, though.

Thats what his post said. And this is a really bad regression. Why change something that has worked great for 30 years.
