Cubase 15 VariAudio Acoustic Feedback not working during pitch drag

Hi,

I have a strange issue with VariAudio in Cubase Pro 15.0.5 (Build 121).

When I drag a pitch segment in VariAudio, I do not hear any real-time acoustic feedback / preview of the pitch change.

The pitch editing itself works correctly:

  • Pitch changes are applied successfully.

  • I can hear the corrected pitch during normal playback.

  • VariAudio analysis works normally.

However:

  • While dragging a segment up or down, there is no audio preview at all.

  • Output meters show no activity during the drag operation.

What I have already checked:

  • Acoustic Feedback is enabled in the Sample Editor toolbar setup.

  • Preview is enabled.

  • The issue occurs in a completely new project with newly recorded audio.

  • The issue is not project-specific.

  • Enabling or disabling ASIO-Guard makes no difference.

  • Cubase is fully updated to version 15.0.5.

  • I am using a Universal Audio USB interface.

The interesting part is that on the same computer and with the same audio interface, Cubase 13 provides real-time acoustic feedback while dragging VariAudio segments.

Is this expected behavior in Cubase 15, or is there a setting I am missing?

Additional information:

MediaBay preview works correctly.
Control Room has been disabled for testing and the issue remains.
The problem appears to be specific to VariAudio acoustic feedback during pitch dragging.
