I’m having a problem with Cubase 15 Pro. After starting up, something slows down when an instrument is loading. I click somewhere, and three seconds later Cubase 15 reacts. If I then close Cubase 15, the entire computer is stuck in this slow state and has to be restarted. I don’t have this problem with Cubase 14. Has anyone else experienced this behavior with Cubase 15?
I’m using Windows 11 Pro.

When I had funny delays, I removed and had Cubase rebuild the mediabay directory. In my case it helped, but I have no idea if it may help you too…
I found the problem. When I put Halion Sonic7 on a new track in Cubase, the whole computer becomes very sluggish. This continues even when Cubase is closed. I uninstalled Halion Sonic7 since I already have Halion 7. Problem solved.
My 15 is slow on opening any plugin and laggy in general. I expect this is on the list to fix and will be in an upcoming release.
