Cubase 15 - Washed out CC Automation colours

Any one else getting this with C15? I’m getting a really washed out CC automation colour - like it’s implying it’s disabled.

Yes, a few have noticed this. Given how many people use a light theme, I’m surprised this made it through beta testing.

Bump. Manike, maybe tag this as an issue.

Dear Steinberg, thanks for making it possible to make the overall UI lighter than before. It would be great if more/all the text would invert to dark after a certain lightness threshold. Some areas, like track list, media bay and plugin-in manager become hard to read in a lighter theme.

I’m also attaching a bit of weirdness in the drum editor, the selected row doesn’t seem to conform to lighter color theme. (Also — no glue tool in drum editor)!

To be blunt, I’ve posted about this a few years ago. This is the history of the software. It does not have an effective UI that fits modern expectations. I grit my teeth about this. It’s very feature rich. I tolerate the poor UI because the features are robust.

I’ve just noticed this myself in Cubase 15… So I’m stuck barely being able to make out the lower details, if I use my preferred colour scheme? This wasn’t the case in version 14

It’s been reported elsewhere on the forum, that this is a known issue and will be addressed in the first patch release.
