Hi,

I just purchased Cubase 4 (I’ll be upgrading to Cubase 6 soon) used and I’m confused on something…

I’m coming from ACID and Reaper.

When I’m using VSTis with multiple out-channels like Kontakt, I’m trying to figure out a way I can assign one effect to one instrument (within Kontakt) and another to another instrument.

I don’t know if this is what people do, but I’ve set up Kontakt and HSO with their own MIDI and Instrument tracks.

I’m sorry, I really don’t know the terminology for some of this stuff, so I appreciate your understanding. :slight_smile:

There’s a button on the VST Instrument Rack that enables the other outputs. It’s the closest to the selection window.
