Cubase 5.1.0 - Pre Set Track Inserts Not Saving

Hi,

So recently out of the blue my version of Cubase 5.1.0 has stopped saving my preset VST track inserts. As soon as I save the track and close down the project when I reopen it the presets have all vanished the panning position is back in the center and all the mixer presets have vanished. It doesn’t do this if I manually put in the VST plugin without saving them as a preset. If I load up the presets they all come back up again but they just don’t save as part of the overall save process. Hope that makes sense.

I’ve no idea why this is happening. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled about 3 times with no joy. I’ve not updated any software or made any other changes on my PC.

Could it be the save file for the presets is corrupt somehow? I don’t know where to locate the files to see if they are there.

If anyone could help, I’d really appreciate it.

Hi and welcome,

I would probably recommend to trash the preferences of Cubase. And I would strongly recommend to update to Cubase 5.5.3 (the very last Cubase 5.x update).
