Hi everyone,
I have an issue which came out of nowhere yesterday:
My configuration was running fine, nothing crashed, I just shut down the computer the other night and started Cubase the next day. No meters are moving anymore and I get no Sound at all in Cubase. System sounds, and everything else but Cubase is working fine. I spent hours trying to fix the issue. I checked all the obvious things like routing, Device setup, start a new project, load older projects, update drivers (I now have the newest beta drivers as similar issues seem to be known) - all to no avail.
I’m getting sound when switching to my internal Soundcard and I even get a working audio file when I do a mixdown with my Scarlett selected as device.
My Specs:
Windows 10 x64
AMD Ryzen 7 (since there seems to be an issue with AMD processors)
Cubase 5.5.3.
Scarlet Focusrite 1st Gen (Mix Controll v 1.9, driver 3.2, Firmware 1056)
I’m going insane here. This came out of nowhere and everything was working fine for months before this happened. I changed nothing in my hardware setup and afaik there wasn’t even a Windows update installed in the meantime…
Anybody have any ideas? I’d be eternally gratefull!
