Cubase 5 Audio Files.....

Good evening forum. Please help me? I don’t have a local job. So I only get to function with Cubase, maybe 6 hours per week. Well, I’m using Cubase 5, with a Mac Pro, with an M-Audio Profire 2626, as my Audio Interface. Well, I just recently had an additional hard drive installed. So, My original Cubase Projects were copied, & added to my new drive. However, now when I try to access my music projects. It says…Missin Audio Files. So I try to locate them. But, several of my audios play together. Please tell me how to reorganize & get my audio’s back where they belong? And how to prevent this from happening again? Thanks!!!

What files did you copy across? you need to copy the entire song directory not just the .cpr

Are the original files still on the other drive?

Yes. When I select
'Locate Missing Files"…it shows files from many other projects, all together.

You need to move the entire project folder, not just the .cpr. The project folder contains the audio folder for the project.
