Cubase 5 Help

I just bought cl2 steinberg so i could use my mic to record on my MAC, but when i open cubase 5 it says that my steinberg is unmapped and doesn’t give me an option to select it.
Then when i go to devices to try and find it, it is nowhere to be found.
I can’t record with my mic on cubase 5 and i need help please.

Didn’t you install the Tools for CI2 driver from the disc into the default location?

When i put in the disk it doesn’t do anything

Surely you can prompt it, for instance on a PC go to my computer and choose the DVD drive. I’ve never owned a Mac so I apologize for my inexpertise. :wink:

I remember having that problem with my drive once… until I realized that I was using a computer that only had a CD drive, not a DVD. Had to copy the DVD to a 1GB sd card and used a card reader via USB to make progress…
