Cubase 5 keeps blacklisting my VST plugins

Hi,

I have Cubase 5.1.1 installed on my 64-bit Windows 10 pc. I am trying to run a 64bit Bias FX demo but it doesn’t show up in Cubase even though I point the VST2.x path to where the .dll is located correctly.

I also tried running Addictive Drums 2. Doesn’t show up in Cubase 5 either.

They both run fine on standalone mode (opening the .exe). I later found out about the VST2xBlacklist.xml file or something like that, located in the AppData folder, and realized Cubase keeps blacklisting these two plugins, even when I delete the VST .xml files and force Cubase to rescan them.

I already tried everything… reinstalling Cubase, reinstalling the VST plugins, running all of them with admin rights, deleting the .xml files… but every single time I run Cubase again, it puts my plugins in the blacklist.

Does anyone know the reason for this?

Thanks in advance!
