! Cubase 5 Mac OS X installation prolem !

Hello! Today I installed my Cubase 5.5.3 on my new iMac that running under Mac OS X LION (10.7.4) . I’ve got a couple serious problems…

  1. Will 32 bit Cubase 5 version (which is the only availible for Mac) support bunch of plugins that I usualy use on PC with 64 bit Cubase version?

  2. Cubase 5 was installed in Japanese. I didn’t chose that! Even after reinstallation the problem is stayed still. I changed the Language in preferenses but it’s affected only transport panel and some more options. The menu and commands are still in Japanese…

Hi,

I have just downloaded every update from 5.0.1 to 5.5.3, as well as the CoreAudio ASIO 2 driver update but cubase doesnt seem to be noticing any of these updates… it remains as 5.0.1.

This is probably a very easy fix Im sure, but im stuck.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

'sall good. 5.5.3 doesnt overwrite the older version it seems, so i just had to replace the cubase icon in my dock with the updated one in my applications folder…silly me
