Cubase 5 on Yosemite?

Hi all, I just bought myself a beautiful new iMac, but upon reinstalling Cubase 5 have found that the my Yosemite 10.10.4 is not compatible with Cubase 5!
Is there a way of fixing this?

I am fairly certain that Cubase 5 is far too old, Apple changed so much of the API that companies would have to rewrite portions of their software to work with Yosemite and that is not going to happen with a version that is close to 10 years old like C5.

The only alternative is to buy an upgrade to 8 or dual boot the Mac with a Windows partition and run C5 from there
