Cubase 5 registered but can't download

Hello, I got playing around with my disc copy of cubase 5 that came with my Zoom pedal in 2011.I partially got it to work in Linux Mint recently with the disc but my W11 machines dvd player doesn’t work. So I found my old serial number and got it registered again but shouldn’t I be able to download the version I registered?

When I first got the software it was frustrating so I’ve used regular recording and effects hardware mostly since then.I couldn’t find a software manager so am I out of luck even though it’s registered again?

Thanks for any help!

Here you can find older versions of Cubase

You can download the installers, but unless you have the license already on a physical eLicenser USB dongle (and the eLicenser software installed), you won’t be able to run Cubase, though. The elicenser Service was shut down last year, so you are not able to activate the license anymore on a dongle or your computer.

What Cubase version are we talking about? Since it came as a freebie I don’t think it’s the top tier version which required an usb eLicenser in the first place. In that case, it will be impossible to run it because Soft eLicensers can’t be reinstalled since the shutdown of the old licensing system server. Sorry…
