It seems that for some reason my Stereo Out volume will not pass -3 dB set at 0 dB while recording with Neumann TLM 103. It seems as though there is some sort of permanent limiter on the stereo out channel but there is not. Im so confused can someone please help me figure out whether its a bug or something else that I am missing. Thanks.
It’s definitely not a bug.
Could you maybe explain the recording chain better, Mic, pre, soundcard, input level (cubase), channel level (cubase) routing to output?
There is no such thing as user error here. It always is a Cubase bug, even if the software was used for years by thopusands of people without the problem…
