CUBASE 6.5.1

CUBASE DOESNT COMMUNICATE WITH AUDIO INTERFACE. IT SHOWS AS GENERIC LOW LATENCY AUDIO DEVICE, BUT IT CAN NOT BE ACTIVATED INSIDE CONTROL PANEL…WHY…?

Probably because your computer has the notorious caps-lock virus.

Did you installed the native driver for your audio interface?

what do you refer to by the caps-lock virus…??..I know its a joke though but english is not my first language…yet there seem to be a problem with lexicon alpha asio driver. I thought all harman products were very good, but the pc keeps kicking it out…so the connection is blown up and even freeze the pc.

thanks anyway for answering

Seems to be good enough to get it (the joke that is)

What just exactly are you trying to do?

Is it a usb device? make sure you don’t plug it into a USB 3 port!

What are your system specs? OS?

Can you not select the correct driver in Cubase?

It says it is but we know it’s not always the case, particularly with USB audio devices.

The Lexicon drivers are notorious for being buggy and difficult. I would recommend using a more generic driver like ASIO4ALL. Because you get a cheap driver when you buy a cheap interface.
