Cubase 6.5 GM file import: different behaviour Mac and Win

I cannot import gm files in Cubase 6.5 Mac (OS X10.6.8) properly, the sounds are not playing at all. When I open the Halion Sonic SE instrument I cannot select any GM sound in multi program rack. In media bay however gm sounds are contained and can be selected.

So I should do this manually each time I import a gm file. :frowning:(

On my Win XP pc it works fine (same preferences → midi → midi file)

I have no clue about this different behavior, has anybody else?
