Cubase 6.5 MIDI timing problem

Hi all,

I just installed Cubase 6.5 and I noticed some strange behavior I never had before with Cubase 6.0. If I record a MIDI track for a couple of bars (click on), and just play a note on the first beat, and play back the track, the note won’t start on the first beat, but is shifted to the right (instead of starting on 2.1.1.0 and 3.1.1.0 , the note starts consequently on 2.1.4.45 and 3.1.4.45) I don’t use track delay, so I don’t know what’s happening. I looked in the project-> preferences and file-> preferences, but I cannot find anything what could explain this behavior. Am I missing something?

Thanks for any help on this subject.

Hello,

Do you use Windows? Try to look at this Knowledge Base. Maybye, it could help.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for the reply, that was the trick!! BTW, I did this before, but completely forgot this option. It seems that upgrading from 6.x to 6.5, the system time stamp option is not activated by default. But after activation everything works like before!
