I am really confused about how to update from Cubase 5 to Cubase 6.5.
If I buy a Cubase 6 upgrade from a store (for example MusicStore), will I be able to download the 6.5 update for free? Or do I need to pay for it again?
If you buy/bought Cubase 6 after 1st of January 2012 the upgrade will be free.
You can buy the update from 5 to 6.5 directly without passing trhough version 6.

if you activate a C6 license (also update / upgrade) after the 29.02.2012, you automatically get a C6.5 license. The eLicenser Control Center then will redirect you to our website where you can download the 6.5 update installer.
