so do i rename/delete that whole folder or is there a file in that folder? because i dont see anything that says perferences.
You should rename/delete the entire Cubase 6_64 folder.
update everything works now!!!
i trashed my preferences folder after search for it.
before i just uninstalled cubase and tried that but i guess it doesn’t remove those settings.

i have one more quick question for you.
when i start cubase all my other backround applications (windows media player, skype, itunes, etc.) get muted, is there any way to toggled that on or off.
Most likely because you use the Generic Low latency driver instead of the Komplete 6 ASIO driver.
The first one could be running through your system’s onboard audio device.
To get the lowest latency in Cubase and the best performance from your system, I would suggest to use the ASIO driver that comes with your Komplete 6, in Cubase.
