Cubase 6 upgrade question

Excuse my English, I’m from Russia)

I have Cubase 5 installed on my studio PC. If I buy the upgrade from cubase 5 to cubase 6, shall I be able to use both cubase 5 and 6 simultaneously? Or my cubase 5 license will be lost forever?)
