Cubase 64bits on Maverick 10.9.3??

Dear friends,

I just installed my Cubase 6.5 on my Mac computer with OS 10.9.3 Maveric. However when I run Cubase tab tells me that is running a 32-bit (32-bit Cubase). I wonder what should I do to run Cubase 64 bit on my computer when I installed Mac Cubase does not allow me to choose between 32 or 64 bits, only asking me to confirm installation and install Cubase 32bit does not allow me to choose the 64bit version.

Please can guide me in this regard, as I do to run 64bit Cubase 6.5 on Mac OS 10.9.3 with Maveric

Thank you.

Aloha S,

By default Cubase on Mac will run in 32 bit mode.
To change this behavior to 64 bit mode do the following:

1-Go to your Applications folder and find the Cubase app.
2-Select it and hit Command ‘I’. (get info)
3- Untick the lil box that says: ‘use in 32 bit mode’
4-Restart Cubase and ‘bob’s yer uncle’.

Good Luck!
