I have been working on a project, saving new versions from time to time. Cubase will no longer load any version of this project including the old ones that used to open OK.
I can successfully load Cubase and it gives me the standard option. Loading up the old files results in the ‘Loading Channels’ message which goes through a few channels, ending on ‘Out’ and then Windows 7 tells me that the program has stopped.
I can recreate the problem by creating a new, empty project and trying to load Superior Drummer (SD).
Note that SD has been working in this project and others up until this problem started a few days ago.
The project also includes Melodyne and it was after starting to use Melodyne that the problem occurred, but this may be coincidence.
I have uninstalled Melodyne and reinstalled it. I have repaired SD. The problem was resolve yesterday so I worked some more on the project but today the error is back. I raised a support call with Steinberg on 28/4 and Toontrack but have not received a reply yet.
The crash diagnostic suggests the failure is in superiod.dll:

Anyone any idea?
How long does it typically take Steinberg to reply to an incident?
