Cubase 7.5, audio recording not working, Realtek microphone

I would like to record using my system default microphone which is of realtek. The routing was set up and it shows up as the realtek microphone array. But nothing gets recorded.

I only hear the output from the system default speaker. Help appreciated.

I am on Windows 10 OS, 64bit.

Could you provide us the information about the exact Mic model and used Audio Device (Sound card), please?
