just quick one on this , im running 1155 socket with no problem at all im also using 2 element 500 gig external usb 3 drives and everything runs fine , no noise problems at all , could this be another steinberg driver issue ???
EDIT: i hate to say it thou im more inclined to think it could be the design of the motherboard as most of it is geared around wifi , and remote access stuff , all to techno for me but for a daw the most simplest motherboards are normally the most efficient IMO ,less chance of conflicts , sorry just thought id add that
