The cubase 7 in the new you tube tutorial vidoes look so bright and colorful and my cubase 7 looks dark and no color like this

You mean besides what you can change under Preferences - Appearance?
i have a new led monitor and cubase 5 looks bright and great there,and i want this bright look here in cubase 7 as well… but thanks anyway 
i have tried to change it in the appearance to achive the cubase 5 brighter look but it’s not the same

Go to preferences and the top tree called appearance. In the general tab increase color lightness. Then go to the work area and increase the work area brightness. You can tweak others in this section as well. Hope that helps.
