I think if you download the core installer from here

I believe you have the option of choosing “trial” in the installation menu. I could be wrong though, I don’t really remember when I installed mine. Perhaps someone else has a more concrete answer.

I don’t think there’s a trial version yet. They’ll announce the trial is available, at least that’s what they did for Cubase 6. There is an activation code they send you when you signup to download it.

Any news on the trial download for Cubase 7? I am a fully-licensed user of 6.5.4, but I really want to play around with 7 before coughing up the upgrade price.
