I’ve recently upgraded from Cubase 7 to 7.5 and keep seeing the following message on startup.
“You have not activated your Cubase 7 license permanently yet.”
And then a countdown information with how much time I have left to use the product. And then a message to activate the license in the elicense controller- which I have done.
I RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE:
THE ACTIVATION CODE HAS ALREADY BEEN USED. AN ACTIVATION CODE CAN ONLY BE USED ONCE TO DOWNLOAD OR UPGRADE A LICENSE.
Suggestions? Help? Please?
You have bought Cubase 7.5 update or just downloaded and installed ?
Hi there- I own 7 and did the free 7.5 upgrade. It is supposed to run on the 7 license. You only have to purchase a new license for 8 again.
7.5 is not a free upgrade unless you got it as grace period update (in which case, your license would have automatically been updated to a 7.5 license) and in no case will 7.5 run on a 7.0 license
Oh dear- that makes sense. Convinced I had downloaded it within the grace period. Oh well… Thank you very much.
