Cubase 8.0.20 Outputs disconnecting on close?

Ok, so something strange is going on since updating to 8.0.20, I use 2 stereo outs on projects 1 for my second set of monitors and I have the 2nd output in the VST Connections window routed to those outputs for the second monitors but on every project I load when I go to VST connections, it’s showing ‘not connected’ and obvioulsly no sound coming from the 2nd Stereo out in Cubase… it’s doing this for both outputs(though I use the control room so no need to set the first outs to my main monitors)

I’m basically having to re-set the outs in the VST connections window every time I load a project.

What’s going on, a new bug or some new feature/option? Anyone else getting this?

I’m having the exact same problem! I was beginning to think it was my computer, but this is definitely a Cubase issue.
I’m going to reinstall Cubase and not do the update, to see if it works.

Apparently it’s by design now.
