This is really a heads up for anyone using windows 10 pro, Cubase 8.5 and a UAD-2 card
with the latest UDA drivers (8.50) for the UDA-2 card Cubase 8.5 (and earlier versions, I tested Cubase 7) would crash/hang on exit everytime. so much so that you have to physically turn off the PC and re-boot. The solution was to install the UDA drivers version 6.1 and everything is working ok now (well, for me it is).
UAD don’t even have any drivers which support the UAD-2 card beyond windows 7, utter disgrace. and no news of windows 10 drivers anytime soon.
