Installed on SSD drive.
Cubase 8.5 Pro Re-installed.
On Cubase Startup Splash screen starts up with “Intializing VST 2.x Plugin->Padshop” Never gets any further…
I saw in previous posts to access appdata and rename Cubase 8.5 folders… But this makes no difference.
There does not seem to be any credible work around for this issue… I see lots of complaints, but no one seems to have a solution that works.
If I use Task Manager and kill the program, then try to start it up again… Nothing happens. I see it running in Task Manager shows its running but it nothing appears. The only solution is to do a full reboot… Then when I start it up again. I’m back to the splash screen.
