Cubase 8.5 midi/drum editing improvements

Just downloading the update. What convinced me, were the midi editing improvements; they’re awesome. Especially the new drum editor filters (e.g. show only keys/ sounds used in project/ available at vst) are amazing!

However, since I switched away from using drum editor all together, mainly because of setting up the drum maps that for me wasn’t worth the while, I’d be interested in a recap: what used to be your reason to use drum editor in the first place?

The fact, there are names of the single Instruments.

Indeed yeah  In my book just that wasn’t worth the mapping effort or e.g. loosing the visual cue for note ends in my book. There must’ve been something more to it…
