This is not only while record, but even while playback. And it’s not wit Pencil tool only, but with all tools using cross-cursor.

Known issue.

I omitted that the problem remains in Cubase 8.5

Hello,

yes, it’s still there in 8.5. It was reported when 8.5 was at the final test stages of the release version, there was no chance.

I checked yesterday and it’s going to be fixed soon, for both 8.0 and 8.5. I need to check back which patch exactly, though, sorry.

I checked the issue entries, it’s planned for resolution in the next update patches for both 8.0 and 8.5.
