I have updated my Cubase 8.5 to Cubase 9 yesterday, my question is…If I want to re install Cubase 9 again, is it possible to install using Cubase 9 full installer alone, or I still have to use Cubase 8.5 then update to Cubase 9 like previously.

No, you don’t need C8.5 if you use the full installer for C9.
