Cubase 8 can't load Waves plugin

Hi Guys,

I just bought Cubase Pro 8, I have an issue about the Waves plugin. Previously I am using Cubase 5, and everything fine, then I installed Cubase Pro 8 64 bit, and I went through the Plugin Manager, all my plugin are found, but Waves and SSL plugin still not showing.

I went to Cubase 5 and check the plugin information, my waves plugin store at “C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3”, after I add this directory to Plugin Manager in Cubase 8 and scan, the waves plugin still not there, anyone can help? I am using Windows 7 64 bit.

This indicates your Waves plugins are 32-bit. Try one of following:

  1. Upgrade your Waves plugins to 64-bit versions (recommended)
  2. Use 32-bit Cubase 8 (acceptable option, if you don’t need extra memory 64-bit version provides)
