I’m new to midi ( actualy never used, being a pretty good piano player, but after buying this groovebox I realized I’m not a drummer at all, so I need to modify some sounds).
K, so, I bought a korg electribe 2 and I’m trying to connect it over midi, to use cubase as a sequencer.
I connect electribe via midi to my steinberg ur44 sound card and I also connect it via audio. In cubase 8 elements I’ve opend a midi track and an audio track. Start recording midi, all ok, have sound on both tracks just like the one on the groovebox. But when I playback the midi part I get a sound like some ufo, nothing like the one I have recorded.
What am I doing wrong? Please help and have patience
