Cubase 9.5.20 stuck on Initialize Component Registry

Hi Cubase community,

I got a problem starting up Cubase 9.5.20 on a PC today.
It just stuck on “Initializing: Initialize Component Registry”

I’m working on a PC win10 with the latest update (ver. 1709), Cubase Pro 9.5.20.

I’ve tried to disable program preference and reinstall the program but none of it work.

Can anyone help me on that?

Just for record. I turn of Nvidia GPU driver for Cubase in Nvidia control panel and somehow it started to work. Don’t know why GPU driver have anything to do with Cubase but this is how I fix it. Hope it help.

Having the exactly same issue with Cubase pro 9.5.20, also after deinstalling and reinstalling 9.5.30 (also on windows 10, latest updates and also driver updates installed).
Disabling program preference did not show any effect.
Has anyone an idea how to work on that, frank - have you found a solution already?
