Cubase freezes when scrolling though and auditioning midi parts in mediabay. Doesn’t happen all the time but frequently enough to be a workflow killer.

Cubase has to load the sound content to the HALion Sonic SE to be able to play the MIDI loop, which takes time. So it might look like a frozen, especially, when the Auto Play is selected, and you select the MIDI loops via key arrows one after the other.
Thanks for your reply. The freeze when it happens hangs all notes in the project. I tried leaving it for 5 minutes to see if cubase recovers. It doesn’t
